K9s SAVE (Serving American Veterans Everywhere)! Our program has given over 24 companion dogs to local US Military Veteran Heroes, FREE OF CHARGE! This includes training, vet care and equipment. Starting in early 2021, we discontinued our "Puppy People" program and now give scholarships to veterans that already have a pet in need of training.
This is "Andy". He is named after a fallen hero, PFC Andrew Keller, US Army. His father is our Secretary Treasurer and works at the USO in the Portland Airport. Andy is a Golden Doodle and was obtained from Johnston Puppies in Dundee.

Remember, we also provide a "Vets with Pets" scholarship package for those qualified veterans with an existing pet and desire more training for their companion.
